Top 3 Christmas Healthy Eating Tips

1. Eat in moderation

Enjoy eating a bit of everything if you can. There’s no food that you should avoid altogether, provided that you don’t over do it.

Get yourself a slice of rich fruit cake, a chocolate reindeer, a serving of crisp-skinned turkey and a small glass of eggnog. You’ll be doing fine.

If you keep it to a reasonable serving size and confine the feasting to a couple of days, it’s very unlikely you’ll be gaining pounds in just one Christmas day.

2. Drink plenty of water

Drinking water daily is healthy for a number of reasons. Take that 1.5 liters water bottle with you to drink throughout the day.

The main reason is drinking lots of water keeps you hydrated, which is vital for healthy body. Your body, especially your internal organs is able to function properly.

3. Eat slowly

Eat too fast means you'll be more likely to overeat. The worse case is that you suffer poor indigestion, thus resulting stomach ulcers, bile problems, reflux, gall bladder problems.

Eat mindfully. Salvage the colourful Christmas dishes and relish the familiar festive flavours. Take your time to appreciate each mouthful and stop before you feel completely full.
