Pineapple is rich of bromelain, an enzyme that helps to lessen swelling afer injury.
You can go to your local market, pick a ripe pineapple. Only the ripe on can produce this enzyme called bromelain. While picking a pineapple, smell it with your nose. Make sure that is is fresh with tropical smell.
On caution note - don't eat pineapple too much, otherwise you suffer stomachache and diarrohoea.
